I'm not into cosplay, but I can respect the people who do it well: they invest a lot of time and artistic effort into their costumes and makeup, and that in itself is something to appreciate. I just watched a YouTube Short about one young lady's "decade of cosplay," and damn—she's a chameleon! The video shows a series of jump cuts that don't give you enough time to truly register the fakery, and for the fraction of a second that you see each costume, you can almost be convinced that you're looking at the actual movie character, not merely a cosplay version of the character. It's pretty wild. If nothing else, this young lady is a fantastic makeup artist and costume designer, and this video is essentially her résumé. Some movie studio ought to take notice and make use of her talents. She's that good. (OK, the David Bowie one from "Labyrinth" wasn't that convincing, and Anakin and Kenobi were creepy, but her Jack Sparrow and Wonder Woman really looked like Johnny Depp and Gal Gadot.)
