It's debate day! We in Seoul are currently 13 hours ahead of DC (14 hours in the fall), so I won't be receiving news of and commentary about the US presidential debate until sometime tomorrow, my time. There's a ton of pre-debate commentary out there, of course, with the Trumpistas touting their guy and the Bidenistas denying reality and claiming their guy is both ready and drug-free. Here's Doug's commentary on that:

AND A NEW RULE (per this post): comments critical of Trump's lying must include criticism of Biden's lying on a one-for-one basis! Failure to be balanced means your comment will not be published.
I'm not going to watch it (I'd rather hike), but it will be interesting to see if they can dope ol' Joe up enough to appear sane. I doubt it.
