It has happened. Unbelievable. RFK Jr. drops out and endorses Trump. This could represent a seismic shift in voting patterns as RFK voters make a similar shift. Even a percentage point or two could be enough, particularly in battleground states.

Or it could all be, as the kids say, a bunch of copium, not enough to move the needle, especially with the prospect of a second Steal.
Teasing out the implications of Kennedy's move is a job for better minds than mine. I've heard that Trump wants RFK in an environmental role, which could potentially cause conflict since Trump is wildly pro-fracking. For me, it's a relief to see RFK possibly in such a role, as opposed to heading up the CIA, where he really would have a huge target on his back. From what I can see, conservatives have little to worry about regarding Kennedy's species of environmentalism, which has, for the most part, concentrated on commonsense things like cleaning up rivers. Stick to that, Mr. Kennedy, and your legacy is secure.
