Well, Immigration has finally sent the email confirming processing of the update of my passport information. The processing date was today, 2/18; I'd made the request on 2/10, so some of you might now have a rough idea of processing time. Next step: book a ticket to the States, probably for around the end of the March, then fly over and renew my driver's license. I'm corresponding sporadically with my buddy Mike about drawing up a lease agreement so that I have a physical address to give to the DMV. I think I'm going to stay in the States for about two-and-a-half weeks to give the DMV time to mail me my new license while I'm there. That's not a firm plan, though: I might also just stay for a single week, have the new license mailed to Mike after I'm gone, and he'll then mail it to me in Seoul.
In other news: my right foot is bothering me for some reason: the big toe opened back up even though I haven't touched it with clippers in a long time, and there's another annoying, little bleeder happening just under my fourth toe, close to where that nasty blister was last year (scroll down). It kind of leeched out my desire to walk early this morning around 5:30 a.m., but I've gathered my courage up and will step out in a few minutes (today's high is 1ºC or 34ºF), walk, come back, take a shower, and re-bandage myself. That small bleeder was leaving a bloody mess yesterday because it had gone totally unnoticed until I took a moment to lift up my foot and stare at the sole. Go figure.
