best decision in a while

Getting off the fucking insulin may have been the best decision I've made in a while. Today's blood-sugar number—without insulin for 24 days—is 96. Under 100 is always great. My weight, which never got below 118 kg while I was on insulin, is 112 kg as of today, so I've begun losing again. While I can't say I'm on the road to shaking my heart failure and getting healthy again, I can say that a few of my health markers are finally looking up again, and it's very likely because I stopped the goddamn insulin, which all of the experts I watch had warned against, from Jason Fung to Sten Ekberg to Ken Berry to Becky Gillaspy. I'm going to ask my doc to stop prescribing insulin, and I'll show her a printout of my numbers to prove my case. Not having to buy insulin will also save me money.
