To make their gigantic flops seem more successful, movie studios have taken to lying about things like production budgets and initial earnings. They'll downplay how much a given movie or series costs and exaggerate how much it earned over opening weekend, but eventually, the real numbers have to be made public for all to see, and as Dave Cullen notes, both "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" and the Disney series "The Acolyte" both turn out to have had production budgets beyond even the most pessimistic estimates. And yet, the studios never learn their lesson: they keep churning out woke dogshit while they keep broadcasting Baghdad Bob propaganda about their finances. Is the slow-witted public finally catching on?
