la France et Lance

Hooray for the Dutch (via Drudge):

Dutch investigators cleared Lance Armstrong of doping in the 1999 Tour de France on Wednesday, and blamed anti-doping authorities for misconduct in dealing with the American cyclist.

A 132-page report recommended convening a tribunal to discuss possible legal and ethical violations by the World Anti-Doping Agency and to consider "appropriate sanctions to remedy the violations." [emphasis added]

For God's sakes, France-- give it up. Your inability to bring down a man with only one ball is making you look more like the global sissy everyone already thinks you are. Sheesh.

UPDATE: Good Lord, look at the spike in traffic! Welcome, Marmot's Hole readers. You have officially entered the "bad neighborhood" in the Koreablogosphere: BigHominid's Hairy Chasms is essentially a long, still-wet underwear skid mark in cyberspace. Sniff at your leisure. In return, allow me to link to Andy's superlative political coverage at the Marmot's Hole here.

  1. Lance Armstrong is pretty much the definition of awesome. And I'm not even a cycling fan.
