Incheon Walk 3: Day 2 begins

Yeah, yeah: creepy smile. Sorta' like Vince from the ShamWow commercials. I'm aware of the creep factor, but I've slapped the pic up all the same.


Up ahead is the Banghwa Bridge. I took this picture because the bridge is a landmark for where a walker leaves the comfort of the Han River behind and begins the long, slow left turn (the Han swings north) to the Ara Canal, which is a more or less straight shot west to Incheon and to the Ara Canal Sea Lock that meets the ocean.


Wasn't there a sign like this on the TV show "M*A*S*H"?


Turning left now. And it's a looooong left turn.


But one final, loving look at the Banghwa Bridge, which is an impressive piece of engineering:
