5:38

Five minutes and thirty-eight seconds is the time it takes me to struggle up the stairs from the B1 level to the 14th floor. I never run; I merely trudge and gasp.

From B1 to 1: 36 steps (4 flights).
From 1 to 2: 27 steps (3 flights).
From 2 to 3: 36 steps (4 flights).
From 3 to 4: 32 steps (4 flights).
From 4 to 5: 40 steps (4 flights).
From 5 to 6: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 6 to 7: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 7 to 8: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 8 to 9: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 9 to 10: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 10 to 11: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 11 to 12: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 12 to 13: 18 steps (2 flights).
From 13 to 14: 18 steps (2 flights).

So—333 steps, 37 flights, 14 floors. Uneven floor heights lead to uneven stair flights.

Maybe I should try to get my time under 5 minutes. Hmmm...
