I wrote
my "sword of Damocles" post the other day, regarding Blogger's imminent switchover from the current "legacy" interface to "new Blogger." Today, I opened up Blogger and saw the new-Blogger interface staring me in the... interface, but with another tag at the top saying that the full switchover would happen this month, but in the meantime, we could still use the legacy interface. I immediately clicked myself back over to "legacy," then experimentally clicked back to new Blogger. I'm going to try practicing with the new interface to see whether I can contrive a way to blog "normally" (i.e., in such a way that you, Dear Reader, notice no differences when I publish posts). If I fail at that, then as I've said before, I'll be switching over to a different blogging service—quite likely Squarespace in my case.
I'm going to try uploading an image to this post. We'll see how that works out:
Well! Blogger has reconfigured the pic-uploader so that you can still select the size at which to display your images. Let me see whether this works with photos:
Ah—this is good news. The only remaining problem, from what I can see, is the annoyingly wide gap between paragraphs when hitting the carriage return (to use an archaic but still-
au-courant term) twice.
If I can figure out that problem over the next few days, then I'll stick with Blogger.
