French star Jean-Paul Belmondo has died at the age of 88. He passed away in his Paris residence. I know Belmondo best for his role in the 1981 action movie "Le Professionnel," but the man had a wide and diverse career both onstage and on the silver screen. I had lost track of Belmondo over the past few years, so while I'm sad the man is gone, I'm also surprised he'd managed to live this long.
