Because of the new lockdowns (with rumors of impending enhancements--can't leave your house!) for the non-vaccinated here, there has been a surge in people giving in and trying to get the jab. In typical Philippines fashion, nothing was done to increase the availability of the vax. I'm told they can only do 800 shots a day at the center in Olongapo. People start lining up at 0300 and only about a third of those seeking to submit are turned away.
And oh yeah, there is a "no shot, no ride" policy for the Jeepneys now, which makes it very difficult for people to even get to the vaccination center. Stupidity rules!
