looks as though they've called it for Katie Hobbs

The GOP is likely to win a slim majority in the House of Representatives, but Kari Lake will not be the next governor of Arizona. Since 2015, Republican Doug Ducey has been Arizona's governor. Given what we now know of the tattered state of election laws in Arizona, I can't say I'm all that impressed with Ducey's governorship. There's a lot of systemic rot he never took care of. And now, like it or not, it's a Democrat's turn. I expect Hobbs to fail on multiple counts, and maybe the people of Arizona will learn a lesson thereby: vote for the smart one; vote for the brave one. Don't vote for the coward who flees debates because she's got nothing between her ears. I'll be watching Arizona closely from now on, both to witness Katie Hobbs's failures and to see what Kari Lake does—either to prepare for another run at the governorship or to prepare for a run at the US presidency. Lake has principles and convictions. You might not agree with all of them, but she's no squish. Hobbs is a frightened little girl who, like Biden, skated by while barely campaigning, buoyed by Democrat machine politics. She'll enjoy the bubble created by the leftist press, which will minimize her gaffes and praise every half-measure. I can see doing that for a Special Olympics kid, but for a grown adult with no spine?

OnTheIssues.org says this about Katie Hobbs's stance on government reform:

Government Reform
Katie Hobbs: End conflicts of interest, fight for lobbying rules.

"Conflicts of interest"? That's pretty fucking rich. Katie Hobbs is both secretary of state and election chief in Arizona. She just presided over her own election and benefited from a major conflict of interest. Why should I believe a word this woman says?
