J6 video: an attempt at a balanced viewpoint

I'd be hesitant to say one way or another what the preponderance of the January 6 videos will show (I don't think even 1% of the footage has been released to the public), but at a guess, it's not going to be 40,000 hours of violence. Chris Chappell, below, attempts to be balanced in his commentary, noting that there's nothing proving the riot was a full-scale insurrection on the scale of 9/11 or Pearl Harbor. At the same time, Chappell avers that enough documented violence appears on the video to suggest that the protest wasn't as rosy as rightie narratives suggest, either. From the left's point of view, though, it's like this: if you're a partisan rightie rejecting the leftie narrative, you're Hitler. And if you're a neutral party attempting to be balanced, well, you're also Hitler. Only the leftie narrative is true, and therein lies the bullshit of the leftist position. I can at least appreciate an attempt at neutrality even if I don't agree with that stance, but there's no discussing anything with most people on the left. At a guess: as more footage comes out, it's going to get worse and worse for the sinister side of the aisle.
