the "government kill switch" problem

Chris Chappell on a potential problem for future drivers:

On one hand, a kill switch might save lives by preventing lengthy car chases in stolen cars. On the other hand, do you really want the corrupt and inept government collecting data about how and where you drive?

  1. Nope, I don't trust the government to do the right thing. We saw their "good intentions" during the scamdemic. My sense is the real goal is limit how much we are permitted to drive per day, week, and year. Gotta stop that global warming.
