This young lady has my respect and admiration, and despite the different voice and accent, she reminds me of an equally tough chick I knew in high school:
I'd like to be able to say I can relate to some of this lady's trekking-related woes, but she's on a whole different level, and I get the impression that she does this sort of thing either for a living or as a vocation.
She's a traveler, who very recently took up marathon running, and now ultra marathons, as an outlet for overcoming her own personal pain and adversities (see her older videos). But, this has led her to a new career path with National Geographic, and her first episode covers native women, distance runners in Mexico in very unique kits with equally unique stories.
