ReplyDeleteI should also say that I am reconsidering my remarks that I would prefer an opportunist like Trump to an ideologue like Cruz. I still don't like Cruz, but in my haste I think I might have forgotten just how much I hate Trump. In terms of being "presidential" or otherwise fit for the office, I cannot think of anyone less qualified than Trump.
ReplyDeleteRubio would be a fairly predictable candidate. I think it all hinges on how much power the establishment really has left. If they have enough, my Rubio prediction will come through. But if they have well and truly shot themselves in the foot, we may see Cruz as the nominee.
