a two-week-old comment

The crap that leftists now affirm, such as "2+2=5," has roots that go back. Two weeks ago, I appended a comment to one of Tim Pool's videos in which I said:

Much of this nonsense comes from postmodernist thinking, which has filtered out into the larger public after originating in academe. The idea that rational thinking (which would include math) is somehow a tool of Western oppression has been around for decades, egged on by PoMo. PoMo and leftism go hand in hand (thank you, Nietzsche, arguable father of PoMo, for claiming the question of truth is subordinate to the question of power), and most of the people arguing that apodictic reasoning is merely a cultural artifact for oppressing others are products of PoMo academe. For decades, PoMo infected and infested the humanities end of the academy, but in recent years, it has crept into the hard sciences (remember the scientist who got canceled for wearing a "naughty" tee shirt?). Pretty soon, people will think that math is whatever you want it to be, and not long after that, engineers will build nothing but collapsing buildings and crashing planes... all because they reject logic, math, rationality, and the objective reality of the world. Good fucking luck with that, guys. Douglas Adams was a prophet: "'Oh, that was easy,' says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.” If we're saying 2+2=5, we're pretty close to saying black is white.
