I suspect that some readers see the Clint Eastwood images I've been putting up and have no idea what they refer to. It all started in 2014: read this.
The picture of Eastwood (you're also seeing the back of John Malkovich's head) comes from the movie "In the Line of Fire," made in the 90s. In that film, Eastwood plays Frank Horrigan, a Secret Service agent who was part of the detail around JFK the day Kennedy was shot. As Horrigan bitterly tells Agent Lily Raines (Rene Russo), "You're looking at a living legend, Lilly. The only active agent who ever lost a president." John Malkovich is Mitch Leary, an ex-CIA assassin who intends to kill the current president. Leary and Horrigan play a tense game of cat and mouse, with Leary making it clear that he can kill Horrigan at any time.
So a picture of Frank Horrigan signals that I've written a "frank" post that can't be posted in the normal spot. The above-linked blog post provides a hint as to where my posts are; you'll need to look for the hidden message. I noticed, nine years ago, that a lot of people couldn't find it. Good luck. Email me if you give up but really want to know.
