With its insane focus on race, skin color, and all other things superficial, the left can't stand quotes like the one above, famously made by Martin Luther King, Jr., in 1963. To focus on character means taking the focus away from race, and the left prefers everything to be as superficial as possible. Race is, after all, where all the anger—and therefore all the money—is at. When actor Idris Elba recently, and infamously, said he no longer wanted to be known as a "black actor" but simply as an actor, the hateful leftie response was swift and sure. Elba, to his credit, doesn't give a fuck. Good for him.
