I'm no expert on Arabic phonology, and I know that, as is true with Korean, Arabic words can be romanized several different ways. But can we at least agree not to romanize according to the rules of Spanish spelling so as to avoid orthographic abortions like "Iraqui" and "al-Quaeda"? Por favor?
