All the bread you see in the pics below is homemade. This wasn't the same sort of breakfast that I'd enjoyed at Dominique's parents' house back in the 1980s, which consisted of a steaming bowl of rich hot chocolate into which to dip buttered, jam-covered slices of bread, but I wasn't complaining.
