Well, John, California may have a food mecca for you: Sayulita's, which serves a fusion of Mexican and Filipino food. Based on the video, the food looks amazing.

I could go for that! It's funny, in one of the forums I follow, there was some controversy when a Kiwi called out some Yanks for claiming the only "real" Mexican food was the popular Tex-Mex style found in the US. His counterpoint was that style isn't authentically Mexican either. Oh well, I say if it tastes good, eat it!
