big appointment tomorrow

I'm visiting Samsung Hospital tomorrow. Unlike my normal visits (every 2-4 months), I have to go in early tomorrow for a cardiac ultrasound, scheduled almost six months ago. (It's a good thing I've survived until now!) This means waking up at 5 or 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, getting to the hospital by 6:30 a.m., giving my blood and urine sample, then heading over to the ultrasound room for my 8:10 ultrasound. After that, I can relax a bit: my diabetes-clinic appointment is at 9:40. Unfortunately, my cardiac-clinic appointment (where I imagine the ultrasound will be discussed) is at 10:10, which basically means I'm going to be late for that appointment since the diabetes doc is always running behind. Oh, well. Nothing to be done about that. I'll get to the cardiac doc when I get to him.

So that's my morning tomorrow. Per the usual ritual, once I finish my appointments, I'll pay at the automatic kiosk, receive several months' prescription for my next set of meds (printed at the same kiosk), then amble down to the Bluebird Pharmacy (파랑새 약국/Parang sae yakguk) and grab my new meds, which are the most expensive part of my day at several hundred thousand won for several months' worth of drugs.

The only wrinkle is whether the cardiac doc sees something on the ultrasound that needs to be taken care of. He might schedule an appointment for a procedure if it turns out I have one or more serious blockages that need to be cleared (or some other problem). We'll see.
