If Substack (or some strategy) hasn't worked out by June of this year, I'll start casting about for work. I've got more than enough funds to sustain myself until then. "Work" will almost certainly mean university work, i.e., teaching, which will mean earning 50% of the salary I'd had at the Golden Goose.* But 50% is better than 0%, even at my age. More news on this as it happens. Meanwhile, I've got stuff to do, and time waits for no man.

*I'd like to find a university-level teaching job in Seoul. A job outside of Seoul (I've already seen ads for work in Daegu and Ulsan) would mean uprooting myself and starting over, and I'm getting a bit old for that sort of thing.
