I've come to like The Last Jedi less and less as the years have passed. And The Critical Drinker is right about Rian Johnson and his soccer-ball-shaped (the Drinker would doubtless say football-shaped) head.

I hated TLJ pretty much from the get-go, and the "Holdo Maneuver" never made any sense. It pissed me off so much when I saw it in the cinema. Not because of the physics of it (this is Star Wars--we left real-world physics behind a long time ago) but because of the story/universe implications. A lot of people have tried to retcon this, but that's all it is--retconning.
