your primer on socialism

I needed a refresher. Maybe you do, too:

I go back and forth as to whether Morgan is cute or giving off a "cheerfully cold bitch" vibe. Meanwhile, her primer does a lot to clear up the communism/socialism distinction; I see a lot of people (me included) using those terms interchangeably, and that's partly because many people define those concepts in interchangeable ways.

I'll give Morgan this: she's smart—a lot smarter than I was at her age, or at least a lot more politically aware. I stayed away from politics for most of my early life and didn't start to give a damn until the Iraq War of 2003 came along.
