I get the point he was trying to make, but not everyone is equipped with the ability to acquire the type of skills he's talking about. For some folks, selling their body is the best option available. I don't think there is any shame in that. A man who is a laborer sells his body carrying bricks on his back all day. A woman makes a living lying on her back. Why is one less honorable than the other?
ReplyDeleteWe live in entirely different moral universes if you really see sex work as equivalent to manual labor. Women always have a choice. Even the desperate ones.
