the H-1B controversy continues

Alex Jones defends Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy's position on legally bringing in talent from abroad to keep America winning.

So I guess I'm ignorant or lying. Probably ignorant. We'll see how this plays out.

  1. H1B hires have always been with below-market salaries. Greatly below-market. So they’re actually advocating for “cheaper”, not “higher quality work output”.

At the same time, their statements give the impression US universities are inadequate. So they’re claiming that the USA is the best country… with terrible schools. I’m left with the sense that they’re lying. And are willing to turn the USA into Mumbai in order to make more profit than they would hiring indigenous peoples.

    1. I haven't done enough research on the subject to say. If you're right, this is consistent with a typical neocon-globalistic approach, the antithesis of the MAGA agenda. Here's hoping you're not right, that things are more meritocratic than that... but I have a bad feeling, specifically about the "best country/terrible schools" problem. How does one reconcile that?
