This is plausible, and it's consistent with the idea that the left constantly makes the mistake of latching on to what Trump says while completely missing what he does. It's a constant case of utterly missing the point, and the left will never learn the correct lesson from this, which is why there'll always be idiots like the mannish Kaitlan Collins and the unhinged, Olbermann-lite Joe Acosta. But as I've said elsewhere, my own whimsical theory is that Trump wants to cast California out of the union, let it become its own country, and bring in Greenland so we don't have to change the number of stars on the flag. I just fear what an Americanized Greenland would look like in ten years, covered in tacky strip malls, Trump hotels, airports, pollution-belching factories, etc. One thing we all need to change, the world over, is the nature of our economic infrastructure. It needs to become something that's not constantly producing waste and noise and roads and rails. I don't know what this means practically, but it has to be efficient and economically viable, not the solar/wind nonsense we see today. And I say all that as someone who is no greenie! |
Common sense. Not very common after all.
