Karoline Leavitt is a no-nonsense godsend, a competent answer to the DEI floor mop. In this clip, Leavitt merely states the obvious. At the same time, the reporter's quoted remark that all administrations are capable of deception is, to anyone with a sense of history, demonstrably true. And there are good reasons to lie to the public, from national security onward. There are also bad reasons, like covering up COVID-related lab-leak theories and the US role in COVID gain-of-function research. If we had a fair and balanced journalistic class, then in an ideal world, those journalists would be going after all of the bad coverups in every administration. But what Leavitt is pointing out is that our journalistic class is far from fair and balanced: it's a shill for the Democrats, and cowardly to boot, waiting until Biden was out of power before writing its tell-all testimonies about his painfully obvious mental incompetence. At the same time, the journalists constantly manufacture lies about Trump’s mental faculties and gaffes, thus leading distrustful-yet-aware Americans to seek out alt-media perspectives to learn the actual truth. The monster we're fighting is immense and relentless.
