Did Trump literally own Germany? No. But he (and his attack dogs—Vance, Rubio, and Gabbard) once again showed Germany that it's on the wrong path, just as he did in 2018 at the UN when the German delegation smugly laughed at his remarks about energy dependence on Russia. This is a cycle: snidely laughing, being proven wrong, showing no contrition. I doubt these German politicians are evil, but they sure are stupid.
