I knew this! Yay me. We also spoke about it a bunch on the cruise last week as we were looking at the screens on the ship that told us our speed in knots and our distance from Bermuda in nautical miles.
ReplyDeleteYeah, all I knew was that knots and nautical miles were different from their landlubber counterparts. But how different, and why—those things had been lost to the mists of prehistory. So this video was educational for me.
