some experiments

I'll be doing two food projects late Sunday morning and afternoon: (1) making a tomato sauce with meatballs (going East Asian and using ground pork and shrimp as my proteins) to go with small samples of my various keto pastas, and (2) making a croque madame with my remaining keto fondue and a loaf of fresh-baked keto bread. Out of curiosity, I've already eaten a single piece of cavatappi keto pasta (see here), which is largely made from lupini (lupin flour), and true to form, it was very bitter. I hope some of the bitterness cooks out when I boil the pasta; otherwise, choking this pasta down is going to be a real chore. And I am, frankly, dreading the edamame spaghetti, but I had ordered it because curiosity had gotten the best of me. Expect photos Sunday evening or night.
