This'll make my buddy Charles happy: he's never been a fan of tipping. As for me: until I went back to the States earlier this year, I had no idea that the tipping culture had gotten so bad.

It's gotten out of control now that it is part of almost every POS system. Even the cashiers and other stuff at non-table-service places seem to be embarrassed that the system asks for tips for them.
ReplyDeleteTipping is not a thing at all in Scotland outside of tourist-heavy areas. That was a nice change of pace.
