comma lessons: ported over to Substack

I'm done with one phase of populating my Substack pubs with content: I've just finished adding all eleven chapters of my lessons on commas to the vulgar Substack. Some format-conversion was necessary, but it was mostly a copy-and-paste job. A cleaner version of these lessons will appear on the PG-rated Substack, but there's plenty more work to be done. The intro post for the nasty Substack will be out on the 12th; think about subscribing then. Posts for that Substack will come out every Monday and Friday.* With the announcement happening on Tuesday the 12th, the first paid posts (for both publication) will be available on Friday the 15th. Spacing the posts out like this serves two functions: (1) it doesn't inundate the subscriber with daily posts, and (2) it lessens my workload: a month's worth of posts goes from being 23/30 of a month to being 9/30 of a month. Of course, I do have more than one publication, not to mention my other projects (books, quiz apps, etc.). Work never ends.

But at least now, I've got something. Here's hoping that it's something worth paying for. As mentioned, the nasty Substack has been set for $12/month or $110/year depending on how you choose to sign up. The PG-rated Substack is set at the minimum: $5/month or $50/year. A group discount of 30% per person on both Substacks is also available to groups of 10 or more subscribers. So subscribe as a group and save! This will matter more if you form a class.

*I'll be switching the PG-rated Substack to a Monday/Friday schedule as well. Putting out a post per day on multiple publications is insane, especially with all of the other things I'm trying to do. Not just the content creation, either, but the Spanish-learning, the return to walking, etc. It's a lot of plates to spin at the same time, and I'm still figuring out how to fold video, photography, and graphic design into all of this. So please pardon our dust as I climb this steep learning curve.
