But it seems to me that saying artificial intelligence works like biological intelligence is not the same as saying that artificial intelligence is, in fact, intelligent. If we switch the label for the problem from hallicination to confabulation, have we really switched the paradigm? Will AI-related research be totally different from now on? I don't think so.
