Dr. Vallicella, who is grudgingly pro-Trump, quotes a pro-Trump argument and examines counterarguments in his new post, "Why a Conservative Should Vote for Trump."
Meanwhile, here's a Washington Post editorial offering "Why Republicans Should Vote for Hillary Clinton."

The WaPo editorial is mistitled. It should be: "Why RINOs Should Vote for Hillary Clinton."
ReplyDeleteSuch distinctions matter for all serious observers and commentators. Of course, since that leaves out Amazon Boy's Washington Post, I suppose we can give it a pass.
Dr. Vallicella is making the issue far too complicated, which I suppose is par for the course for a one-time academic.
ReplyDeleteThe choice is simple and boils down to this:
If you believe that America is a country and that the rights of its citizens matter, you vote for Trump.
Alternately, if you believe that America is not a country, but is simply a giant shopping mall open to all comers, then you vote for Clinton.
Everything else is just hot air, propaganda, ad revenue and entertainment. Hopefully we'll all be able to get back to work again come next January!
