Humorous article on how an online poll got "Borg"ed by Trumpistas, resulting in a post hoc denial that the poll reflects "real people."

Check out these "average voter" takes on the first debate:

As I noted in previous comments, Trump adopted a more restrained, rope-a-dope strategy and it seems to have paid off with women in particular. It did not escape the notice of several middle-aged ladies in the above clip that Trump held back during the first debate, rather than "beating up on Hillary" or being too "impolite" with her. Say what you will about the man, but as far as marketing and messaging are concerned he definitely seems to know what he's doing.
I predict that the next debate is going to be a real humdinger. The meme has gotten out that the moderator in the first debate was ridiculously biased, and as a result we can expect Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz to make a mild course correction at the very least. That may give Trump just enough room to seriously BTFO the Hildabeast, and possibly even induce a total meltdown. Fingers crossed!
Meanwhile, this is what the adults in the room are talking about:
ReplyDelete"Trump Right on Trade Predators"

No wonder $hillary would rather weaponize mobbed-up beauty queens and throw them in our face. America is practically a sinking ship at this point, and she bears a considerable portion of the blame.
Buchanan's column was reprinted in Taki's Magazine, and the following reader comment may be of interest:
ReplyDelete"This trade war hit home on a personal level last year - literally down to the soles on my feet.
"I was living in South Korea and was hot to buy a pair of Allen-Edmonds dress boots, made in Wisconsin.
"I go on-line and there they are! When I advance through the ordering process and I discover I'll have to pay $143 Korean duty on a pair of shoes.
"Lots of Hyundais on the streets of Wisconsin. Not so many Chevies on the streets of Seoul."
