Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, despite being fully vaxxed and up-to-date with her boosters, has just caught COVID. Dark speculation in the Instapundit comment section is that she'll blame Florida—where she was spotted unmasked—as the place where she caught the virus thanks to the state's lax standards. The battle against truth must go on!
I have a feeling that, like Trump and Boris Johnson, she'll be over the virus in a week or so, and back to her usual bouncy, bubble-headed self. In the end, COVID is a danger only for those in the danger demographic: the old and those with preexisting comorbidities. AOC's infection doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things; she'll shake it off, and we'll all forget about this and move on to the next thing in the ever-churning news cycle.

She possibly got it in Florida where she partied maskless and kissed random and also personally known gay men.
Despite all of that it isn't ironic at all. She's a hypocrite around the block and her supporters love her even more. FTR I don't want to date her.
