As a fattie myself, I don't think fat people need to be given special consideration. If they want to do what other people do, they ought to slim down and follow normal human conventions. While a lot of people like to style obesity as a disease, let's face facts: it's generally a choice. Sure, there are factors like hormones that play a role in obesity, but the only real cure for it comes from the making of choices and the practicing of self-discipline, i.e., personal responsibility. Fat folks don't like to hear that, but that's what it boils down to. So: no booking extra seats on airlines, no special office furniture, no other privileges because you think you have a handicap. Do the work of getting down to a saner weight.
