now you know how Texas feels, asshole

Every big city that declares itself a "sanctuary city" should get a taste of what Texas border towns have been going through for years, with no end in sight. I'm thinking that Greg Abbott's and Ron DeSantis's choice to bus and otherwise ship illegals out to the cities that have boasted about providing sanctuary might be one of the smartest gubernatorial decisions ever made—the two Republican governors are basically saying, "Put your money where your mouth is." And what have we discovered? We've learned that virtue signaling is easy when a problem isn't at your doorstep, but real solutions are hard when you have to face a problem. We've also learned that, when you scratch a Democrat, you reveal a NIMBYist. From Martha's Vineyard on down, white-liberal Dems in truth want nothing to do with the illegal riffraff pouring across the Texan border. This uncomfortable, bused-in influx might not convince the idiots in these "sanctuary cities" to stop voting Democrat, but it at least gives them a taste of what their voting leads to. And maybe it'll make them think twice about the policies they're voting for. Or considering the stupidity we're dealing with, is that too much to hope for?

  1. To answer your question, yes, I am afraid it is too much to hope for. Voters on the left have become so indoctrinated with the party's dogma that they can no longer think for themselves. Continuing to vote against their own self-interest proves the point.
