Ukraine to conscript men over 40: a sign Ukraine is losing badly

I feel for the Ukrainian people, but not for their corrupt government. The US should never have gotten as involved and mired as it has in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, and while I'd say Russia is basically at fault for choosing to invade Ukraine, what Russia seems to want most, right now, is to take back Ukraine's ethnic-Russian eastern sectors. Is President Zelenskyy ready to fight to the last man to prevent this? Maybe he is, and maybe he's relying on US and European cash to keep funding his ever-more-futile war. If Biden had any sense, he'd have done things exactly backward from how he's done them: (1) he'd have withdrawn from Afghanistan in a slow, orderly, intelligent way, and (2) he'd have avoided getting the US involved in an interminable conflict on Russia's doorstep.

Here's Paul Joseph Watson on Zelenskyy's rather telling move to conscript middle-aged men to fight this losing war:

Getting the US out of global hot spots should have been a top priority for the oaf in the Oval Office. Maybe that's what Biden was ham-handedly trying to do in Afghanistan. I actually agree with pulling out of that region, but Biden utterly botched the job. And he's now doing exactly the wrong thing in Ukraine.
