Go check out my postmortem over at the walk blog. I now need to finish uploading all my pics, enlarging them, then adding captions and commentary. I think I can do all of that before Christmas, but it's gonna be close. By Christmas, I also ought to know whether I still have a job. At this point, the boss is mainly hoping we'll be able to hang on long enough to finish the book series we've been working on. I think we've done about eight of twelve books in the series, so we'd remain in place for only another few months, I think.
God or the cosmos is telling me something.
Do you have a Plan B at this point? I know your boss was planning to start his own company and was looking into locations, but you haven't said much about that lately.
ReplyDeleteUncertainty is no fun, but it is often the precursor to new opportunities...
The boss is still working on his own Plan B. If I wait for him, it'll likely be a few months. I can do private work in the meantime. Or use my down time to acquire some new, useful skills, like learning Adobe InDesign (publishing) and learning the ins and outs of SquareSpace to build a heavily monetized website (subscriptions, merchandise, etc.). Ultimately, I'd like to become my own boss.
