I think annexing Greenland will be easier than liberating California. As for "Not lesbians," let's be clear: if a kick-ass lesbian headed up the fire department and had water available to fight fires because she understood priorities, I'd absolutely stand behind her.

I was born a lesbian trapped in a man's body, so I agree that sexual preference should not be a factor in the hiring process. Your ability to do the work better than the other candidates is how you get the job. I stuck to my guns on this principle when the EEO folks sent out numbers saying we were "underrepresented" in specific racial categories. I always hired the best person for the job. It didn't matter to me if they were red, yellow, black, or white. My success depended on their success, and I chose accordingly.
