The ungrammatically titled, "Is Your Life Better than a Medieval Peasant?"
Ways to correct the title:
Is your life better than that of a medieval peasant? Is your life better than a medieval peasant's life?Is your life better than a medieval peasant's?
The ungrammatical title falsely compares your life with a peasant. This kind of error is called a faulty (or even illogical) comparison. Sloppy thinkers will say, "Bleh, I know what the person meant." True, as did I, but that's not an excuse for mental sloppiness, which is what most careless language reflects. Show some pride and discipline in your language. We all make mistakes—I make them all the time—but mistakes can be corrected and/or minimized. So instead of being resentful that scolds like me point this kind of error out, swallow your misplaced pride and make an effort to express yourself correctly. Most of all, remember that you can't have sloppiness without a penis, so don't be a linguistic fucking dick.
