I haven't seen the video yet, but pineapples are a big thing here in the PI. I sometimes see them growing wild when I'm hiking. I recall that Dole shut down their Hawaiian operations and started pineapple plantations in the Philippines. And the favorite pizza of every Filipina I know is the pineapple-infused "Hawaiian".
