spot the error!

Seen quoted on Instapundit:

Perhaps the most extensive coverage of Biden’s remarks that we can find are from the Wall Street Journal, in an article under the headline, “Biden, in Rare Remarks Since Presidency, Warns His Accomplishments Are Coming Undone.”

I see exactly one error. What is it, what kind of error is it, and how would you correct it?

4 comments:

  1. It should be "is" rather than "are." The sentence is referring to a singular example of "extensive coverage," not Biden's "remarks."

  2. The name for this error is "subject-verb agreement."

  3. You are missed. Even random readers are trying to fill the void. I took the comment as a compliment to you. You are more famous on my blog than I am!
