After a very thorough fast yesterday and the day before, I went for a walk around the park last night. I did two kilometers instead of one, and there were no problems at all—not a hint of pressure or breathlessness or angina. And the night was cool and breezy, too. This doesn't mean I'm suddenly problem-free, but it's reassuring to know that all I need to do is stop eating to avoid discomfort. Unfortunately, this means that, if I want to walk across Korea this year, I'm probably going to have to starve my way across. But maybe that's a good thing. I've got a lot of fat to lose.
Blood sugar was 117 this morning, which is really not bad. I'd like it to be under 100; perhaps I'll get there later this week. On verra.

It's great to hear that you had a pain-free walk. It's weird to me that fasting impacts angina, but hopefully, you can find the right mix of tactics to keep your heart strong when you walk. We are all pulling for you to be back on trail soon.
