my exam-site stats are better than my stats here

I have literally hundreds of hits for each of my quizzes over at my exam site and only dozens of hits for each of my posts here at the Hairy Chasms. This could be a sign that word of these quizzes is getting around, and people from all over—not just from Substack—are coming to test their mettle. That's awesome if true.

This blog, the Hairy Chasms, used to get hundreds of hits per post, but that's cooled off in recent years. The fact that my daily site-visit stats remain in the thousands, though, is definite evidence of bot activity. At the exam blog, however, the daily hits are in the dozens (rarely over 100 per day), just like the hits per post, so that's almost certainly human activity, not bots.

On an unrelated note: fasting glucose of 106 today. Not ideal, but I'll take that. Better than nothing. Right—off for a walk.
